Why are Vegetarians and Vegans So Healthy?

Yes, it’s true that vegetarians and vegans typically consume less fatty foods and typically have lower cholesterol levels than non-vegetarians but this article raises a very interesting question. Are vegans and vegs more healthy because their diets are better or are they healthier because the diet forces you to be acutely aware of your supplement intake? Personally, I thinks it’s a little bit of both but it’s an interesting question. What do you think?
